Here is a typical snack for me, I buy unsalted mixed nuts in bulk from my local grocer, it is about $9.99 a pound. I add Walnuts(same price) and often add unsalted peanuts (about $3-4 a pound) as well, they are cheaper. I need to have chocolate in my life on a daily basis, we all have our vices, this is mine, so I add dark chocolate chips to it. This is also my go to dessert if I feel I need a little sweet before I hit the sheets. This is high in protein and has "good fats" so I do not feel any bit of guilt choosing this as a snack, sure beats chips or a sugary treat.
Chicken on the grill... Stage 2 in my chicken prep for the week. Stage1:  I season marinate it lightly with pepper, cumin, paprika and parsley mixed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.  I then finish it off in the oven at 350 degrees F, for about an hour or so. I cool it a bit, and place them all in large sized plastic containers and put them in the refrigerator to be eaten another day. Chicken is a lean source of protein and good for building and maintaining muscle. It is a staple in my daily eating routine.
